The current hunger mechanic sucks.

I'm not one for over negativity, but this is just problem after problem and it actually almost cost me an entire save file.

I'm in game. My hunger is low. Guess I'll eat something.

I have 4 MREs in my inventory and 5 more at base in the fridge. Cool right?

Well, it would be if the game didn't just say "I don't wanna eat that" in response to literally starving to death next to a weeks worth of food.

So after waddling back to base with tons of food in my inventory and constantly slamming my face into the ground (because the character really needed to just collapse from not eating for more than 18 hour?) I decide to order a pizza cause this picky mf would actually rather die than eat the food he already has.

I get to base and order the pizza.

Cool I have food right? Well no, it's gotta be delivered, and it's in queue behind the daily mre and cartridge after the drone picks up the package I had to send too.

So I guess I'm just gonna wait. Can't do literally anything because he keeps throwing himself on the floor.

Guess I can sleep it off. Nope. Apparently you can be too hungry to close your eyes and lie motionless... Jesus Christ.

You know what fine. I'll just sit on the bed. No activities, not even sleeping. Just existing on the bed.

He collapses again and clips into the bed, glitching collisions cause him to take rapid fall damage until he dies in about 2 seconds...

Yes, sitting on a bed killed me.

The game also thought auto saving during that incident was a good idea.

So I load back in to clip into the bed and die again, and again, and again, and again...

On about the 12th try, I lucked out and managed to get out of the bed when loading in before it killed me on start up.

But my point still stands, how many issues does this hunger thing gotta cause before it gets addressed?

Thanks for reading my long recount if you did.

Much obliged

What's up with Maxwell?

Whenever I type "Maxwell" into the console, it does nothing.

No message, no "Maxwell has been activated", not even an error as if it was an incorrect command.

I've seen some other people come across the same issue. Is it a bug? Is Maxwell spawning and we're just not getting the prompt for it anymore?
